Hi, I’m Lauren!
I grew up in Haberfield, Sydney and studied at Macquarie and Sydney Universities to attain my Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic. I have worked as a Radiographer, Massage therapist and Chiropractic assistant whilst completing my university qualifications. For the past 10 years I have been practising in Mortdale.
I practice a variety of Chiropractic techniques including Activator and SOT, Webster technique for pregnancy, Diversified and NIP (Neuro Impulse Protocol). I have a special interest in paediatrics and pregnancy, and am able to mould orthotics for the feet.
I live in Port Macquarie with my husband and two children.
I look forward to seeing you!
Hi my name is Brendan.
I have a passion for health and fitness and have been in the fitness industry as a personal trainer since 2008. I served for 4-years in the military in the Royal Australian Air Force as an Airfield Defence Guard. I was lucky enough to complete a tour of Afghanistan in 2012-2013 for 7 and a half months and complete many other courses and develop great skills during my service.
I also have a passion for sport and in recent years have turned towards Ironman in which I have completed 2 full events in Port Macquarie in 2018 and 2019. The goal is to finish one in under 10 hours. I studied Chiropractic at Central Queensland University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) and a Masters in Clinical Chiropractic.
I developed a passion for different Chiropractic techniques and methods while at university and utilise them in my adjustments. These include sacro-occipital technique (SOT), Activator, Diversified, Drop piece, Muscle activation, Dry needling and Trigger point therapy. My Chiropractic philosophy is “weakness is the cause of all disease and dysfunction in the body”.
When a structure, whether it be muscle, bone, cartilage etc, is put under a stressor, which can be physical, chemical etc, and is greater than its ability to sustain, it will ultimately lead to that structure failing and either breaking or becoming diseased. Weakness is not only a muscles ability to withstand load applied, it can also be from neurological compromise, compensation patterns, or a number of other causes. In all my treatments I aim to have you leaving the adjustment stronger than when you walked in. This is measured through a range of testing methods including muscular and neurological, so that the cause of the weakness will be identified and corrected, leaving you stronger to face the world. I look forward to seeing you in the clinic and helping you achieve your health goals.
I have been on my own health and fitness journey since shortly after finishing school. I reached my lowest point at 93kg but it was when I was trying on my clothes to go out one night, that it sank in just how unhealthy and how overweight I was. Nothing fit and if it did I looked like a stuffed sausage! I sat down crying in my wardrobe and hit rock bottom. Since that moment I knew things had to change, but I tried almost every crazy diet, every shake, every ‘weight loss’ pill under the sun but how was I going to lose weight if none of those diets worked for me like they appeared to for so many others?
I joined a gym and went every day after work (only into the ‘ladies only’ zone so nobody would see me) and after a few weeks I noticed that I was actually starting to lose weight! So I thought ‘what If I change what I’m eating too?’ And that’s when I lost a total of 36kgs – who would of known that eating the right food and working out would help you lose weight!! I also went from struggling to run for 20 seconds without feeling like I’m dying, to running ultra marathons, and trust me when I say I hated exercise before I started!
This is when I decided I needed to know more and I wanted to help other people, so I became a personal trainer and enrolled in University to become a Nutritionist. Since graduating I understand the importance of gut health, a multi-disciplinary approach to health care, and focus my treatments on trying to improve the chemical stress applied to a body.
I understand that there is physical stress which needs to be addressed as well as emotional stressors which all contribute to disease and poor performance. When we first meet we will delve deep into what your body is telling you and determine how many of your symptoms can be related to what you put in your mouth. From there we will develop and plan to help you balance out your systems and allow the body to do the work and heal you from the inside out.
Together we can get you from where you are, to where you want to be in your health and fitness goals. Remember that every cell in your body is fueled with what you put in your mouth, so if you have thyroid issues, acne, hormonal issues, digestive issues, brain fog, trouble sleeping, feeling low or depressed, and suffer with autoimmune diseases, these have all been linked to gut health. Come see me for a wide range of issues, not just weight loss. I look forward to seeing you at the clinic soon.

Hi, I’m Hayley. I joined the team in July 2016 and have loved learning about effective Chiropractic care.
As a mother of two active young boys, optimal health and a balanced lifestyle is important to me. I like staying healthy by visiting the gym, walking our two year old pup, Digger, and enjoying Port Macquarie’s many beautiful beaches with family and friends.
I look forward to welcoming all of our patients on their chiropractic journey.
